Doom and Bloom

I’m worried about AI, but I’m excited about almost everything else. I work in biotech, and in AI interpretability and oversight as it applies to biotech.

As a PhD student (a PhD is best thought of as a multi-year car crash between the Honda Civic of hope, and the juggernaut of reality) I know that a lot of my hard work will never see the light of day as a peer-reviewed publication. I hope some of the insights make it here.
